THE NEW STUDY PARTNER

It's been sometime for not updating the blog :P Yea guess what? It's been abit busy with the study life here. There r quite a burden of assignments to submint before the raya week. For now, im enjoying my raya holiday with full of activities arround Ipoh.

Here's something happy to share with. Last sunday my parents had finally got me a DSR camera. I've been craving for it even since i saw people's work fulled with high quality pictures and mine was like the low one. Living in a world of kiasu-ness, i was eager to make changes to achieve something better. I was happy that my parents had tried putting in effort to get things done for me. At least, i could have improve my assignment's marks as well as portfolios to get a better grade. :)

If you know me well, i like to get my gadgets name. Lol. It makes me feel more appreciation on them and somehow it works. From Ricky(bowling ball), Blackie(itouch), to him the camera XD
By the way, there is no specific reason for the selection of camera. I have asked some of my frens on their opinions and did abit of research. So far Sony product is reliable i guess. And since they are having such Raya promotion, so just get myself one for architecture usage.
I've learnt myself something like Aperture, Exposure and the theory of third. Just touching the surface i know, but i think during the way i would have learn more.
Hopefully i could become a good photographer! (i love photographing though :D)

Well really appreciate this opportunity to get myself involved in photographing. Some people might think im taking it granted from parents, saying that I should save money from them and buy this later with my own money.
UNFORTUNATELY,
I think if you keep this thoughts to urself, u will never changed a thing in ur life. You've closed opportunity for urself to learn new things, n be different with others. U will never succeed in ur career, n be the one who can achieve their dreams.
Yes, u need to save money, but not in knowledge n education.

今天是个很特别的日子
一个以特别地心情度过的日子.
让咱和你们一一分享吧

其实可以说是个翻不完的一天
早晨八点已开始那长透的行程
从载送,运动,拍照,到法会义工
还好一切都进行得蛮不奈满意的
只是拍照方面爸突然改变了主意
明天再去完成

来到了下午
由于拍照不成,便提前前往紫竹林
结果时间像昨晚一样不上不下
太早到了,暂时工夫都不需要帮忙
只好到才晋家呆一下再回去

直到五时半,用过药食后
开始一天的工夫了
前奏只是表面上的帮忙
和了解法会的行程和细节.
其实咱似小孩般的无知
毕竟第一次参与地藏法会
有很多的事物都一窍不通
多谢伟雯姐和坚平哥的领导下
咱才开始明白其法会用意
还有像所谓的'大蒙山',
所有法会上的一些规矩,
和其经书里的诗经意思
咱今天'佛学'了

法会进行得顺利
许多善男信女都来参与了
直到大概九时
接近法会尾声
大家开始工作
从拆撕名片
到抬搬桌椅板凳
大家都忙得汗流浃背
只是不同的
是大家都带着笑容
同心协力完成任务
咱也一样的
一点都没觉得到累
直到工作做完后
才发觉原来自己流了百尺汗
但心里头
有着一股开心满意的感觉
那种合作的成果
是超快感.
直到十一时多
大家'满载而归'的归家了
感恩今天的一切
感恩空凡师父的礼物
咱今天的确很开心满足

这是咱拍摄着紫竹林的美丽
虽然没把法会过程快门下来
可是存在脑子里的种种回忆
不需要用照片来回想这一切

平常日子是看不到的

平时吵吵闹闹的小孩
平时繁忙的都市人
平时邬鸦嘴的噢巴桑
和平时讨人厌的乞丐
当师父开始法会时
全人顿时静坐
随师父朗读诗经
这就是佛教的特色
不管你是何人
只要是佛门子弟
就是一家人
很荣幸
自己也是一分子

与佛教的距离又拉近了许多
其实心里感恩着
自己有着这样的机会
渴望着
其他的佛教年轻人
也多多学佛
多多了解自己的宗教
有机会的
做做义工也好
为佛教出一分力

家家有本难念的经

一个翻不完的星期日,重叠的心情难以形容
...............

其实自己也大概可以猜到
家里头确实有发生什么的
那种比平时来得肃静严肃
连同桌吃饭都只讲了几句
我显得有些无奈
为什么父母亲总是爱隐瞒
发生什么了都不讲不分享

难到就只是不想我们担心
那是否他们曾了解我们咱
身为家的一分子会怎样想
难道我们没有权利知道吗
况且身为家中长子的本人
更想设法去帮帮你们分担
只是不明白在你们的眼中
我还是个不懂事的男孩吗

是
家里的确有些问题打饶着
应该是老爸公事理财问题
但表面上一点也看不出来
是其实姐弄错或摆误拢了
还是你们掩饰的天衣无缝

妈今天突然提到了一句话
'家好月圆庆中秋'
当时咱偷偷瞄了妈的表情
其实眼中看到的无数忧虑
心里顿时觉得一丝丝的酸
好想叫她把事情趟出来讲
可是身为你儿难道不明白
在怎么问你你也守口如瓶

今晚的团圆饭吃得还真苦
您让我想起了以前那时候
咱不知情的把你给弄哭了
回读起那时候写过的部落
心里都一直没有好受过去

IT'S JUST SO INCONVENIENT

Sometimes going back ipoh is just so tiring. Plus im now staying in the hostel which is abit far from the train ticket booth and took me hours to wait the bus and stuck in the jam, although it's just a short distance journey.

Yet yesterday i started waiting the bus from 6pm n seems like it just left. Which was written on the schedule at 6pm but my fren said the bus left like 5.50pm. I was wonder why the people is so sick. Yea u guess it, it's an hour interval which means i have to wait until 7.
Nvm i went library to spend the time. This time i purposely went down 10mins earlier to see the situation there. Who knows i was wrong again becos the bus arrived at 7.15pm. GUESS WHAT KIND OF FEELING I HAD THAT TIME.

Next dropped off at subang ktm station to buy ticket for tmr's balik kampung. Checked the time it was already 7.40pm. Again, heart-attack taken place that the counter was closed from 7.15 to 8.00pm due to Buka Puasa meal. OMG i m getting mad.
OK FINE! I wait for another 20mins.
N SOMETHING ACTUALLY HAPPENED WHEN I WAS WAITING THERE. THIS IS LIKE THE DAMN IT THING I HAD EVER SEEN
Story started with an Indian woman. She was knocking the ticket booth to get someone help for something. Firstly i thought she was urgent to buy ticket. She keep trying trying n WTF nobody was actually respond to her. I took a peep inside the booth there was 2 malay ladies and 1 malay guy was chatted so syokly n ignore her request. At that time i was so angry why BUKA PUASA can be so HEARTLESS that why u can't just answered her for like 5mins to see what happened.
Stories continue with the manager of the station came out after another malay guy was knocking the door again. The indian woman went off n came back again. UNexpectingly they are not asking for tickets but asking for help. They saw a woman fainted on the other side of the station there which they assumed she was fainted cos of hunger. No one from the station has actually concerned bout this and they just continue their food. Finally the manager SLOWLY walked to the woman n help her. if not bad things might happened. N u know what? Those ppl in the food still dont care n makan makan makan like in a vacuum space like tat.

So thats the story that i learned from KTM. Frankly KTM reputation is getting into black hole. The booth at last was start operationg again at 8.10pm n luckily i managed to get my ticket. But the malay lady expression is like 2months didnt get salary like tat. n she took 5mins to print the ticket for me. See so inefficient. i WONDER..

Aniway thank God that i have at least get it done. And oso to grab some books from Subang library and get my laundries baju back. The service they provide in subang is really good. I mean DOBI la. proper folded and it's cheap.


Highly recomended laundry services for those who stays taylors hostel or nearby subang :)


After all the tiring things at last i get to treat my self with nice food. i went to Noodle Station which is just feel shops away from the Dobi. I had curry springy noodles as usual n ice mocha




It's my recommendation for you if u like noodles or curry. The noodle is so bouncy and the curry is creamy. love it :) It's located at SS15 Subang Jaya (nearby Ayam Penyet)


After all, at least all my task that i planned to do are completed. Just that it's so freaking inconvenient to take bus n taxi here n there, plus the expensive rate they charged.
Hmm.. Another tiring day.. ready for a oil burning night :/

HERE COMES MR.APPLE

Well, here's something i would proud to share with u guys.
Something which i had achieved satisfaction from assigment...

Last wednesday was the final presentation of the 1st assignment of studio2, which a group of 2 have to make a visceral artwork with tactiles to demonstrate the site we visited on Genting. My groupmate, Gabrielle had joined me for the project

Canvas board

Something that frighten me up is to prepare something on A1 size. man it was kinda huge n frankly i never did it before. Plus we r required to use canvas board(something like cloth) which oil paint or acrylic paint are required. We're like, omg.. We did alot of research on how to paint n what preparation we need to do to produce a nice artwork. Probably google alot lol


Sketches

Well ive thought of ideas of apple on the street, dancing ballet on the street, rich man with leather and human face abstract. We r confused since all 3 lecturers gave different approaches to us. So we ended up with the apple idea. Hehe
So we further develop our ideas filled up with recycling issue etc. Thanks Gabrielle for the idea of trashes stick on the board to make it stands out.



Well we spent about a day long to finish up everything. We spent about Rm45 each for everthing including Canvas, acrylic paint, brushes, etc.
Tough part of the painting is to match everything up since we kinda separated the art into two section at first. and most depressing is the apple itself. I had painted more than 5 layers to fix the apple since some parts i had ugly-fy it haha. Well luckily its fixed if not we r gonna redo everything :/

Finally we had managed to finish everything on tuesday nite. We r satisfied and gonna hit the target we set. Last step is to prepare description and packaging.
Ohyea we managed to name the artwork as A LOST APPLE :)


He is Roco. My gay dog fren in Gabrielle house. haha. he do likes me alot. same goes to me :)

At last we presented our work to lecturers and thankfully they like it. COmpliments from them do really encouraged me to go further. Thanks for everything like tat to make me a good start of Semester 2. Although this Apple-artwork is not so outstanding but still it gave me alot of confidence to handle stress.
Ok, lets move on Tuck!
